Goda Masala

COOKING INGREDIENTS :

White Peas soaked overnight and boiled – 4 cups, Oil – 3 tbsp, Cumin (Jeera) seeds – 1 tsp, Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp, Asafoetida – ¼ tsp, Curry Leaves – 10, Onions finely chopped – ½ cup, Ginger Garlic paste – 2 tsp, Tomatoes finely chopped – ¾ cup, My Choice Turmeric Powder – ½ tsp, My Choice Garam Masala – ½ tsp, My Choice Goda Masala – 4 tsp, Coriander finely chopped – ¼ cup, Salt to taste

COOKING METHOD :

Heat the oil in a pan, add the cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida, curry leaves and sauté on a medium flame.  Add the onions, ginger garlic paste and sauté on a medium flame for 3 minutes.  Add the tomatoes, My Choice Turmeric Powder, My Choice Garam Masala, My Choice Goda Masala and ½ cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes while stirring.  Add the cooked white peas, salt and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.  Garnish with coriander.  Serve with Pav and lemon.
